Privacy Policy
AI Assistant is operated by Omsun AI Assistant. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers https://ai-assistant.omsun.org, the AI Assistant Telegram control bot, and related AI Assistant web services such as login and billing. The Omsun Studio site at https://omsun.org has a separate privacy policy at https://omsun.org/privacy.

Who we are
Omsun AI Assistant provides AI Assistant, a subscription software service that helps you review and send suggested replies in messaging conversations you choose to monitor. The catalog site at https://omsun.org is operated as Omsun Studio. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Account information: email address, name if you provide one, and your Telegram user id when you link the control bot.
- Billing information: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. We do not store full card numbers. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
- Product usage: which chats you choose to monitor, chat settings, suggested replies, and related message content needed to provide the service for those chats.
- Telegram connection data: an encrypted Telegram session credential after you authorize the connection. We do not store your Telegram password or login codes after authorization completes.
- Support messages you send to us, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use this information to create and maintain your account, generate reply suggestions, process payments, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversation content for advertising.
Telegram connection
Connecting a personal Telegram account authorizes AI Assistant similarly to another Telegram client. We are designed to process only the chats and features you enable, but the underlying session is an account-level authorization. Details of the secure login flow are at https://ai-assistant.omsun.org/auth/telegram/privacy. You can remove the saved session in AI Assistant and independently revoke it in Telegram → Settings → Devices.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Stripe may collect billing name, email, and payment method details under Stripe’s own privacy policy. AI Assistant never stores your full card number, CVC, or card PIN. Card data is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Charges on your statement typically appear as “Omsun AI Assistant”.
AI processing
To draft a suggestion we send conversation context from chats you have chosen to monitor to OpenAI. We do that only to generate the suggestion you asked for. We do not use your conversation content to train our own models, and we do not use it for advertising. OpenAI processes that request under its API terms.
Sharing
We share information with the service providers listed below so they can perform their part of the product, when required by law, or to protect the service and our users. If we sell or merge the business, account and product data may transfer to the successor, who must continue to handle it under a privacy policy at least as protective as this one or give you notice.
Service providers
- Stripe — subscription billing and card processing. We do not store full card numbers.
- OpenAI — generates reply suggestions from conversation context you chose to monitor.
- Cloudflare — HTTPS, DNS, and the tunnel in front of the public sites; optional Cloudflare Web Analytics on public pages.
- PostHog — optional product analytics on public pages when we enable it. It is configured not to receive conversation content, passwords, payment card data, or authentication URLs.
- United States cloud hosting — the application, database, and cache that run the service.
Security
Public sites use HTTPS. After you authorize Telegram, the saved session credential is encrypted at rest. We do not store your Telegram password or login codes after authorization completes. We never store full card numbers, CVC, or card PIN. No internet service is perfectly secure; you can disconnect the session in AI Assistant and revoke it in Telegram → Settings → Devices.
Retention
We keep account, billing, and product data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we deactivate connected Telegram sessions first, then remove or de-identify product data except records we must keep for accounting, security, or legal reasons (for example Stripe invoices).
Your choices
- Add or remove monitored chats at any time.
- Pause or disconnect Telegram, or revoke the session in Telegram’s Devices list.
- Cancel a paid subscription from Billing in the web app (Stripe Customer Portal).
- Request account deletion from the product. Unused paid time is not automatically refunded; see the refund policy.
- Email [email protected] to ask what data we hold or to request a correction.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident you may request to know the personal information we have collected about you, receive a copy, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may need to verify it is you.
Children
AI Assistant is for people 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International users
The service is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers run.
Analytics and cookies
Public pages may use Cloudflare Web Analytics and PostHog to understand traffic. These tools are configured not to receive conversation content, passwords, payment card data, or authentication URLs. We do not use advertising cookies or session replay. A language-preference cookie and an optional design preference in local storage remember your choices. We do not show a cookie banner for this configuration. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on https://ai-assistant.omsun.org.
